We depart from the Brisbane Coach Terminal on our luxurious ‘Gold Class’ coach, ensuring responsible travel with 100% offset coach emissions. We arrive at Summer Land Camels for morning tea with verandah views of the farm. Our afternoon takes us to the Granite Belt where we taste some of the locally grown and produced wines at Ballandean Estate Winery. After lunch, we continue on to the Standing Stones in ‘Celtic’ Glen Innes, before arriving in Armidale, our home for the next 3 nights. 3 Night Stay: Rydges Armidale
ARMIDALE

Today we explore Armidale, beginning at the award-winning Deano’s Smoked Trout, where we sample the products and learn about the processes behind this unique farm. At Peterson’s Winery, we wander through the English-inspired gardens to the rustic cellar door. After a guided wine tasting, enjoy lunch in the shade of the beautiful heritage gardens. Later, we join a locally guided tour of Armidale’s historic buildings, including a visit to the Regional Art Gallery.
TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL
Meals: Full Breakfast, Lunch, Two Course Dinner
Departing Armidale, we head to Tamworth’s iconic Big Golden Guitar for a quick photo, then visit the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame. Enjoy free concerts, buskers, bush poets, line dancing, and the Fanzone Stage at the Tamworth Country Music Festival before returning to Armidale late afternoon.**Lunch is at your own expense today at the festival.
ARMIDALE - BRISBANE

Today we head for home via a morning tea break at Tenterfield. We then continue on to Bestbrook Mountain Resort, where a special treat awaits with our very own Fun Over 50 Holidays Australia Day celebrations. We have arranged a very special ‘celebrity guest appearance’ to help us celebrate! From whip-cracking to chicken racing, you will be in stitches with the ‘Aussie Fun’ we have in store for you before and during lunch. We arrive back to the Brisbane Coach Terminal late afternoon, filled with jolly Aussie spirit as we say our goodbyes. B = Full Breakfast; MT = M/Tea; L = Lunch; AT = A/Tea; D = Two Course Dinner
