Lunch and dinner at own expense

The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival unfolds over the next two thrilling days, celebrating Australia’s bush heritage and horsemanship. The area comes alive with riders showcasing stock handling, packhorse work, bareback riding, whip cracking and cross-country skills. Rodeo events light up the night with bull riding, saddle bronc and barrel racing delivering heart-pounding entertainment. Festival goers will also enjoy bush poetry, live music, bush markets and a vibrant street parade. *

Lunch at own expense

Late Sunday we depart Corryong and make our way to Thredbo in the Kosciuszko National Park. 2 Night Stay: Thredbo Alpine Hotel. * Please note all rooms are only accessible via stairs and the hotel does not have a lift.

Thredbo (B,L,D)

This morning is free for self-guided walks. Later we take the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift to Eagles Nest Restaurant for lunch, enjoying panoramic views of Mount Kosciuszko and Thredbo Village. After lunch we return via the chairlift and enjoy the Alpine Coaster ride down a 700m track through the Thredbo wilderness.
