Upon waking this morning on the train, the green hills of the coast have given way to the colour of rustic reds and sunburnt plains. This morning following breakfast we depart for Winton and make our way to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum of Natural History. We take a guided tour of the Museum’s Collection Room and enjoy the March of the Titanosaurs exhibition followed by a self-guided walk of Dinosaur Canyon. This morning we board Longreach’s only Heritage Rail Motor for a unique outback experience. Travelling through the Mulga, arriving at Darr River we enjoy billy tea and smoko.
