Fly west from the Gold Coast by private aircraft to the iconic outback town of Birdsville, where you'll enjoy sunset drinks atop Big Red and an overnight stay at the historic Birdsville Hotel. Take in a spectacular scenic flight over Lake Eyre before continuing to Winton to explore the Australian Age of Dinosaurs, the Waltzing Matilda Centre, and enjoy a stunning outback sunset. Conclude your adventure with a visit to the magnificent Carnarvon Ranges and a scenic flight home, completing an unforgettable journey through Australia's heartland.

Checking in at the Seair hangar at 6:15am, you’ll receive an early briefing before departing as the sun rises over the Gold Coast. Fly west to Charleville, home to a Royal Flying Doctor Service base, which you’ll visit after arriving at approximately 10:00am. After refuelling, continue into the Outback and arrive at the Birdsville Hotel around 1:00pm. Enjoy lunch before taking time to explore this iconic Australian town. At 4:30pm, board an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle and travel into the Simpson Desert to Big Red, the first major sand dune of the desert. Enjoy sunset drinks while taking in the spectacular outback scenery before returning to the Birdsville Hotel for dinner and drinks at the heritage-listed front bar.
