This morning we board our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ coach, making our way to Tasmans Arch and Devils Kitchen enroute to the Port Arthur Historic Site. Discover its grim history dating back to the 1830s and the harsh convict life. Following a scenic cruise on Carnarvon Bay, we return to Hobart via Eaglehawk Neck, visiting the Tessellated Pavement enroute.
Hobart to Strahan (B,L,D)
Leaving Hobart, we trace the Derwent Valley to Russell Falls, known for its tiered cascade. Next, we explore ‘The Wall in the Wilderness,’ an ongoing artistic project depicting Central Highlands history. In the afternoon, we journey west, visiting Nelson Waterfalls and view the Iron Blow copper mine. Then travelling via Queenstown, we reach Strahan. 3 Night Stay: Strahan Village Motel

Departing Devonport, we make our way to Launceston’s Cataract Gorge where we ride the world’s longest single-span chairlift, delighting in breathtaking vistas.
